Conditional product options for BigCommerce: show, hide and filter options and values

Show only the product options, and now the option values, that fit what the shopper has already chosen. Conditional Product Options is a BigCommerce app: you set up conditions in the app, and it applies them on your storefront. No theme edits and no code. Works with any Stencil theme, free or paid.

Example:

A t-shirt printing shop shows the "Back print" option only when "Print on both sides" is selected, and offers the "Kids S" size only in Red, Blue or Black.

Features:

• Show or hide options based on the value selected in another option. Mark shown options as required or optional.
• Show or hide option values (new): for each selection, offer only some values of another option, or hide some, with a default to fall back to.
• Always a valid selection: when a rule hides the selected value, the app picks an allowed one, and Add to Cart is blocked with a clear message when nothing valid is left.
• Everywhere the product form appears: product pages, quick view and the cart's "Change" popup. B2B Add to Quote is checked too.
• One condition, many products, or all products at once. Import and export conditions as JSON.
• Clear editor: warnings for values, defaults or options that are not in your catalog.
• Fast and stable: the app script and rules are preloaded. An optional setting locks the options until the rules are ready, without moving the page.
• Works with every option type: any option can be shown or hidden, and checkboxes and file uploads can trigger rules; value filters work on swatches, radio buttons, rectangles, dropdowns and product lists, for variant options and modifiers.

Get started:

1. Install the app from the BigCommerce App Marketplace.
2. Open it and click Add condition.
3. Choose products, then the option that triggers the rule and what it shows, hides or filters.
